Requested by Luma and Esphiral Media, I developed and performed the visuals for an audiovisual show which was presented at the basement of Unit Club Tokyo on 2014.
We used a custom back projected translucent screen to create a volumetric effect between the audience and the performers.
Visuals were generated on real time, reacting to the music using “Alkimia”, a Touch Designer framework built for real time generative and audio reactive visuals.
While working at Noiselab Studio I designed, programmed and implemented a simple activation for the brand launch event of American Eagle Outfitters in Mexico.
Programmed with Touch Designer using a Leap Motion Controller.
On 2015 I was trying to create a section for the Noiselab’s blog called “Pixel Cover Art” .
The idea was to create stylized and “funny” GIF animations with pixel art technique of famous cover art albums.
The only published GIF I did is this cover of Japan’s iconic “Tin Drum” Album.
Video flyer for the Hyperdub 10th year anniversary at Mexico City.
Generated with Touch Designer and post produced with After Effects.
This is a great example of how Motion Graphics can be achieved with audio reactive techniques.
Animated Shortfilm produced as student project at The Vancouver Institute of Media Arts. 2007-2008.
First recorded experiment using “Soul Engine”, a Touch Designer framework I built for real time audio reactive visuals.
